Ein Wahnsinns Wochenende mit ein paar Wehrmutstropfen liegt hinter uns.
Wild West Fest (On Fire) 2019 es war uns eine Ehre. Zbilje Lake – we love it. Ein schöner Platz, sehr nette Leute, eine Top organisierte Veranstaltung. Vielen dank dafür Slovenian BBQ Society.
Da wir uns in unserer Rookie Saison befinden ist das Ergebnis eher zweitrangig, wenngleich wir mit unseren Cooks bis auf die Ribs zufrieden waren, die Judges uns aber nicht aus dem letzten Viertel des Teilnehmerfelds aufsteigen ließen.
Fast schlimmer war dann nur die Heimreise mit einer gesperrten Autobahn wegen Unfalls und mehr als einer Stunde Stau.
wir werden unser Setup weiter Verbessern und hoffen beim nächsten Stop mit 1-2 Testläufen ein wenig Boden gut zu machen.

A fantastic weekend with a couple of drops of bitterness lies behind us.
Wild West Fest (On Fire) 2019 it was an honor for us. Zbilje Lake – we love it. A nice place, very nice people, a top organized event.
Many thanks to the Slovenian BBQ Society.
Since we are in our rookie season the result is rather secondary, although we were satisfied with our Cooks except for the Ribs, but the Judges didn’t let us move up from the last quarter of the field.
Almost worse was only the journey home with a closed highway because of an accident and more than an hour traffic jam.
We will continue to improve our setup and hope to make up some ground at the next stop with 1-2 test runs.
